Katsotaan miten käy! This is my prediction!
/Alright then — once again it’s time for the final and also for the grand final prediction. Being a pessimist, I’m thinking it could very well happen again that Finland misses out on victory today. Maybe Australia will win Eurovision and Finland will come second, in which case we might at least get the “consolation prize” of hosting Eurovision in Finland next year...? This scenario feels likely enough that I’m actually going to predict it.
Personally, this is going to be a bit of a challenging evening because I’ll have to watch Eurovision on my laptop during a car trip. Our flight back from Cyprus to Helsinki was rerouted yesterday because of a drone threat(!). We really are living in strange times in the world of the 2020s when attacks related to Ukraine and Russia can end up affecting entirely different countries...
Anyway, here’s my prediction list for tonight:
- Australia
- Finland
- Israel
- Denmark
- Greece
- France
- Romania
- Bulgaria
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Italy
- Moldova
- Cyprus
- Albania
- Sweden
- Ukraine
- Norway
- Serbia
- Belgium
- Poland
- Austria
- UK
- Germany
- Lithuania
Let’s see how it goes! This is my prediction!
