Tavoitteena on ruksia yksi kohde per vuosi yli. Viime vuonna kävin Shaolinin temppelissä.

Barcelona. Two years ago I made a list of where I would like to travel before I die. This had ten places in - all dreams, all something amazing, but doable. Yes, of course there's even wilder dreams which I didn't put in, because I want to make sure that I do this list. Once per year to cross something off is my target - and Barcelona was there. So yes, I did have that in mind when submitting a paper (and actually ending up contributing to two) to the EDULEARN 2014.
Unfortunately I had only three days in Barcelona. This meant that I had to heavily prioritise. I can tell you however, that I was not disapointed at all, just ashamed of how little time I had. I did two mornings of sightseeing with two different bus tours with a couple of stops. Yeah, I know - I really saw nothing. But I just wanted to get a feeling of the city. See something. This was a compromise. Yeah, I would have rather taken my time, walking around with locals, checking out art and achitecture with my own time. Sometimes that's not an option. I am however sure, that I'll be back here. Absolutely.
The gothic centre is amazingly beautiful. You can pretend you are in King's Landing (yeah I know it was shot in Croatia, but still) and it is still somehow different from all other european cities I have been to. There's soul in Barca, which you can't feel anywhere else. So yes, I was just as impressed as in the Shaolin temple last year. These are not by far the only pictures I have of the city. More posts will follow:)
