Saturday morning starts after 5h of sleep (my bad). However, my aunt is still hanging around chatting with me. I am annoyed by the lack of proper coffee in the household. I drink coffee only on Saturday and Sunday at home. But then I don't want it to be instant.
Back to my current normal weight.
/Proteine sandwiches for breakfast.
opfish loves that mommy's home again, so I get extra extra hugs and kisses.
/ Tops reads books until my aunt suggests that she would go to the kindergarden yard with topfish so I could take a nap. I feel like a walking dead so you don't have to ask me twice.
I take my first nap of the day when my son and my aunt play outside.
My aunt goes home, I make myself and tops a quick lunch.
Next 1,5hours I use to go through my picture archives in the last 20 years. I am looking for any picture of my uncle's wife whose 60th birthday party we are going to. I make a collage as well and upload it to my blog with a birthday greeting.
Mietin et mitä laittaisin päälle ja löydän mekon, jonka olemassaolon olin unohtanut. / I am contemplating on what to wear and I find a dress which I have forgotten I've got in my closet.
Mut valkoinen pitsimekko voittaa kisan. /However, my white dress wins the competition.Tops and I go to buy some roses and a card on our way to the party, where the spirits are already high.
Juhlissa tarjoiluja on taas viimeisen päälle. / Food is great and there is plenty of it.
/After lunch, it was time for a cake, which was also home made.
The women decided to try on my new heals which I got from local sales (10euros!) - they are beautiful but need some getting used to... Which is why I had two pairs with me in this party.
Poika nukahti päikkäreille ja saatoinpa itsekin ummistaa silmäni hetkeksi. /Second nap of the day with my boy.Immediately after waking up from his nap, my son continued to entertain the guests.
/As traditional, we had a sauna and then got stuck talking with whoever's turn it was to leave.
At the end, only the family remains.
After the sauna we play in the bed of my uncle and aunt. I realised I've fallen asleep for the third nap of the day. The week has certainly taken its toll.
/It's over ten a clock when me and Tops finally leave for home.
At home, the single parenting weekend is not a pretty sight: Porridge. Melatonine. Levozin. Dishwasher.
Upstairs still some laundry to sort out.
But for the night, I get to sleep with this lovely lad. Life could not be any better, really.
