Kiinalaiset ovat tunnettuja 'mitä milloinkin' -muodistaan. Olen kuvaillut hieman Xi'anin katukesämuotia 2015 teille. Ykkösjuttu on tietysti päivävarjo (tai sateenvarjo). Xi'anilaisnaisella on sellainen kädessä koko ajan, koska täällä joko sataa tai sitten paistaa.
China is known for 'come on the street in ANY outfit' types of fashon. You can see people dressed as cows, people in modern suits or traditional Tang costumes. I shot some examples of the summer wear 2015 in Xi'an for you. First MUST is a parasol - or an umbrella. It's either sunny or rainy here, so there really is always one or the other in the hands of the xianese women. Then you should also have a very color rich bag. Chinese love colors, maybe because they have so much grey around... Shorts or skirt + top is a very common pair, but also maxi dresses are on. There is the most imaginative repertoire of dresses floating around on the street. I take pictures of them all the time - some great choises too, some really off putting. There's also the style of 'I want to look like a child' which the Chinese get from Japanese, I think. That's still quite fashionable. Swim suits are more like dresses. One musn't show their bodies, that would be wrong. The fiasco that was me going into the hot springs last year buying a Chinese bikini has made me carry one around this time... I certainly do not feel the need to entertain anymore Chinese by showing up with my smallish breasts which usually cause an international incident. In the Chinese swimming gear of course there is ruffles and stuffing to make boobs for them as they normally do not have any.
