Naraan menevällä hitaalla junalla, joka pysähtyy about miljoonalla asemalla.
Valitettavasti trooppinen myrsky iski juuri silloin kun pääsimme porttikujalle asti:(
For those people who thought the Japan posts were over - no such luck for you! There's plenty more still to go through. Why is it that so many interesting things happen in my life every day, so I'm bound to be always behind on blog posts? Anyways, on the day we went to Nara, we also went to Fushimi Inari shrine, as it's conveniently on the same slow JR train line. As far as shrines goes, this is a kick-arse one. It's very untypical and I don't wonder why it ends up to the cover of Lonely Planet often. There is various red courtyards on a mountain side and a huge path of toris, the red gates. Unfortunately the tropical storm just caught up with us at this point of the day. Not bad really, having been thought that we might not even see Nara without getting soaked... Anyways, if you are in Kyoto, it's well worth visiting - for a photographer, definitely more awesome than Nara, I might add.
